*This tour considers, in total, 11 hours of bus trip, reason why it is designed for those who only have one day to get to know the Perito Moreno Glacier from Puerto Natales. In case you have more days, our recommendation is to book the Perito Moreno Glacier Full Day from El Calafate.
We will leave from your hotel early in the morning to begin a 5 hours trip that will take us from Puerto Natales to the Perito Moreno Glacier, in Argentina. On our way to that place, we will make two stops: The first one in the Don Guillermo border crossing, where we will make the customs and migration formalities; the second one, in El Calafate bus station, where a guide will join us and direct our visit to the Los Glaciares National Park, protected natural area where is located the glacier.
Once in the park, we will traverse more than 1.8 miles of walkways in front of the Perito Moreno Glacier. On the tour, we will find several viewpoints, from where we will have different views of this ice mass, even having the possibility to see ice calving from more than 70 m. Also you will have the option of going over the walkways for 1 hour and take the 1 hour navigation in front of the glacier, which will be possible if there is a confirmed tour with availability at the moment of visiting the place, if the weather conditions allow it, and if there are no delays with the border crossing. After making the tour, we will go back to Puerto Natales.
*The transportation times between Puerto Natales and El Calafate, as well as the total duration of the tour, are subject to change according to the time that takes the customs formalities. Because of that, do not buy tickets, under any circumstance, to leave Puerto Natales during the night of the same day of the tour.
*This activity includes pickup and drop off only in accommodations located inside the urban area of Puerto Natales. It does not include pickup nor drop off in accommodations located outside the urban area of Puerto Natales, which are Cabañas Joshen Aonken, Cabañas Kauken, Hotel Lago Grey, Hotel Las Torres, Hotel Llanuras de Diana, Hotel Río Serrano, Hostería Lago del Toro, Hostería Pehoé, Hotel del Paine, Hotel Garden Domes and Hostal El Puestero.
