Day 1: Santiago - La Parva - Federation Camp (12 km trek, 7 hours).
We’ll drive to La Parva ski center, the starting point of our trek. From here, we’ll hike up to Federación Base Camp, where we’ll set up for the night. Cerro El Plomo, standing at nearly 5500 m, is the tallest peak visible from Santiago, dominating the city skyline. Along the way, you’ll enjoy breathtaking Andean landscapes and start acclimatizing to the altitude.

Day 2: Federation Camp - El Plomo Hill Summit - Federation Camp (8 km trek, 12 hours).
We’ll start before dawn, aiming for the summit of Cerro El Plomo (5424 m). While technically not difficult, the high altitude makes it a physical challenge, so we’ll ascend slowly to acclimatize and avoid altitude sickness. From the summit, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the Central Andes, including Aconcagua, and a privileged vantage point of Santiago. After some rest, we’ll descend back to Federación Base Camp.

Day 3: Federation Camp - Santiago (12 km trek, 6 hours).
After breakfast, we’ll descend from the camp back to the mountain base. From there, a vehicle will take us back to Santiago, marking the end of this unforgettable adventure.
