You will depart from Santiago to explore the central coast on a route that will take you through Latin America's poetic heritage. On the Coast of the Poets tour, you will discover the soul and history of Chilean and Latin American literature.
You will explore the Central Coast through the different poetic schools and national literature, while appreciating wonderful natural landscapes and exploring the various House Museums built by poets, allowing you to experience the writing and legacies of these transcendent figures.
You will visit the Vicente Huidobro House Museum in Cartagena, which will take you on a journey through the life and work of the writer, the founder of Creationism. You will also visit Las Cruces, home to Nicanor Parra's House, where the antipoet lived from 1980 until just before his death.
Finally, you will visit the Pablo Neruda House Museum in Isla Negra, a house the poet co-designed and lived in between 1939 and 1973. Here, you will learn about the poet's life and work through the artifacts and stories associated with him.
