The one way shuttle from Calama's El Loa Airport to your accommodation in San Pedro de Atacama is available for all flights landing between 7:30 am and 9:00 pm. In Calama's Airport, we will be waiting for you with your name in the arrival area.

The return shuttle from San Pedro de Atacama to El Loa Airport of Calama is available for flights taking off between 8:00 am and 11:59 pm. We will pick you up around 3 and a half hours before your departure time, with a waiting time up to 40 minutes. We will confirm the pickup time the day before your flight.

*The shuttle from Calama’s Airport will leave 30 to 50 minutes after the arriving of the flight, considering the disembarking time, the luggage waiting time and waiting other passengers.

The shuttle is available for flies landing between 7:30 am and 9:00 pm, and for flights taking off between 8:00 am and 11:59 pm.

• Which are available days for the shuttle?

The shuttle is available for arrival and departure flights during the whole year, except flights arriving on December 24^th and 31^st, after 6:00 pm, and departure flights on December 25^th and January 1^st, before 1:00 pm.

• With how many passengers the shuttle departure is confirmed?

Because it is a shared shuttle, the departure is confirmed with a minimum of 4 passengers.

• For the shuttle from the airport, how do I find the shuttle in the terminal?

For the shuttle fromthe airport to San Pedro de Atacama, once you get to the Calama’s Airport, we will be waiting or you with a sign with your name.

• For the shuttle to the airport service, what time will I be picked up?

We will pick you up around 3 and a half hours before the departure time of your flight. We will reconfirm the pickup time the day before your flight.

• What is the duration of the shuttle service?

The transportation has an actual length of 1 hour and 15 minutes. Nevertheless, you have to consider the time of arrival, the luggage waiting time and the shuttle assignation, which makes 2 or 3 hours between the arrival time to the time in which you will arrive to your accommodation in San Pedro de Atacama.

• Which is the meeting point if I am not staying in San Pedro de Atacama?

In case your hotel or hostel is not in San Pedro de Atacama the meeting point will be the intersection between Ignacio Carrera Pinto St. and Caracoles St., located in downtown San Pedro de Atacama. You will have to indicate us in the corresponding blank “Accommodation” when booking.

• What kind of vehicle is used to make the transportation?

The transportation is made in a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter or similar, with a maximum capacity of 15 people.

• What type of luggage am I allowed to take in the shuttle?

The service allows taking a small item that you will take with you in your seat (bag or backpack) and a hand luggage or a checked bag of maximum 23 kg per person. In addition, you will have the possibility to take other items, like sandboards or bikes. You must let us know when booking so we can confirm availability. For every extra item, you will be charged an additional ticket of CLP$ 15.000.

• Is it possible to take a one way transfer to San Pedro de Atacama from the city of Calama?

No. The service is operated only and exclusively from the Calama's Airport, which is located outside the city.

• Is it possible to take the transfer from San Pedro de Atacama back to the city of Calama?

No. The services is operated only and exclusively to the Calama's Airport, which is located outside the city.

• How much time in advance should I book the shuttle?

We receive bookings exclusively through our website, with at least 24 hours in advance.

• What happens with my shuttle booking if my flight leaves late from Santiago?

In this case, you must tell us answering the booking confirmation email, indicating the new arrival time to Calama’s airport. We will relocate you in the closest shuttle available according to your new arrival time. The availability of vehicles is limited, and it is programmed in advance in case there is no availability in the new time or in case the new time is later than 9:00 pm (top operating time), we will make a full refund.

• What happens with my shuttle booking if I arrive to Calama in a different flight to the initially informed?

In this case you lose the shuttle originally booked without possibility of refund. If you want to take a new transfer, you will have to look for it on your own directly at Calama´s airport or in the city of Calama (subject to availability). Our recommendation, therefore, is that you reconfirm your definitive flight time with the airline the day before so you can tell us with time if you have modifications.

• Is there a special fee for children?

Kids under 5 years old do not pay for the shuttle service, if they are going in their parents' lap. If they have 5 years old, they have to pay the adult's fee. The service does not include child seats.
