Your will travel 6.2 miles from San Pedro de Atacama, to the place where you will make this activity. There, you have this Astrophotography Tour, in a place with few light pollution, special for the observation of the night sky. The experience is divided into two stages: the first involves observation through a telescope, allowing you to see planets and some details that are not visible to the naked eye. Additionally, you can observe Andean constellations and learn about them. The second stage, you will have a photo shoot with the starry sky as background so you can take a memory from this experience.
*The order of the stages can change without any notice.
*The pictures included correspond to 3 pictures with stars, per person. We will share them through a link up to 4 business days after the tour.
*During full moon nights, the tour is normally taken, but the observation and the pictures change, due to its too bright for having a stary background. You can check how the Moon will affect star visibility for your travel date by clicking here.
*For the next accommodations the pickup and drop off service will be with a meeting point:
- Ckoi Atacama Lodge Hotel and Airbnb accommodations located at Callejón Río Pacsa. In this case, the meeting point will be Hotel Don Raúl.
- Accommodations located outside the urban area of San Pedro de Atacama.
- Accommodations located at the ayllus (Quitor, Yaye, Checar, Sequitor, Solor or Coyo) or in Toconao.
- Accommodations located at alleys or streets in which vehicles cannot enter.
- Accommodations located at the historical downtown San Pedro de Atacama (during certain dates it is forbidden to enter by vehicle to the area).

SENSACIONAL!!! Esse passeio é lindíssimo. Quando fomos, fiquei preocupado que não conseguiria ver muito bem as estrelas porque era lua crescente (já estava na metade), mas o céu é tão limpo e lindo, que o guia disse que se não tem nenhuma lua (lua nova), fica até difícil de identificar as constelações no céu, que fica quase “poluído” de estrelas. No dia que fomos o guia mostrou que dava para ver perfeitamente a constelação de escorpião, o Cruzeiro do Sul, e outras. O céu do Atacama é incrível de verdade. As fotos ao final do tour ficaram maravilhosas.
