We will go out from San Pedro de Atacama to Tambillo, place where we will have breakfast. The trip goes on to the Altiplano, where we will visit the Altiplanic Lagoons, called Miscanti Lagoon and Miñiques Lagoon, placed at the foot of volcanoes and the Andes. Their unique color-scheme of intense blue and the company of beautiful vicunas, create a magic natural scenery. In addition, you will be able to visit the Chaxa Lagoon, place where you can see flamingos.
Finally, we will visit Socaire town, kown for its pre-Hispanic farming terraces. In addition, we will make a stop in the Tropic of Capricornio, before going back to San Pedro de Atacama, where the tour ends.

No. The lagoons visited in this tour are not suitable for swimming.
Which is the maximum altitude reached in this excursion?
The maximum altitude reached is 4200 m. For a good acclimation, our recommendation is to eat a light meal and drink lots of water the previous days to the excursion. Because of the altitude, we recommend leaving this tour for the end of your stay in San Pedro de Atacama.

Breakfast includes tea, coffee, milk, juice, bread, ham, cheese and jam.
What kind of vehicles are used in this activity?
The vehicle will depend on the size of the group, having a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (or similar) for 12 to 18 people.
