About the Skorpios Cruise
The Skorpios III moto vessel was built in 1995 and renovated the year 2010. It has a length of 70 m and 10 m wide, and has 5 decks where you can move freely: Athens, Acropolis, Parthenon, Olympus and Athos. It has a large dinning room for all passengers and 2 bars, Quitralco and San Rafael, for the relax times on board during the journey.

Itinerary
Join us in this Kaweskar Route cruise of 4 days, which will allow us to navigate from Puerto Natales by Magellan channels and fiords, and know the wonderful glaciers of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field on board of the Skorpios III moto vessel.
Day 1:
- At 4:00 pm, the crew will be waiting for us in the meeting point, the Skorpios terminal, in the city of Puerto Natales.
- Then, we will have a security talk to make a better use of the space in the ship, without taking unnecessary risks.
- At 5:30 pm we will sail from Puerto Natales towards the Patagonian channels of Angostura Kirke, Morla, Vicuña, Unión, Collingwood and Sarmiento.
Day 2:
- At 8:00 am we will get to the Amalia Glacier, towards which we will approach to have a better view of the area.
- Then, we will disembark on a close beach to do some hiking through the sand, rocks and native vegetation of the area.
- We will arrive at the viewpoint where also it is possible to have a privileged view of the glacier.
- The route will continue with us saling to reach El Brujo Glacier, where we will be able to disembark according to wheather conditions.
- Then, we will go to the Calvo Fjord, where we will make an excursion in an appropriate craft, the Capitán Constantino, to pass throught the ice and having better looks of the surrounding glaciers.
- At 8:00 pm we will begin the navigation heading to the Montañas Fjord.
Day 3:
- At 9:00 am we will visit the Montañas Fjord, where there are 4 glaciers hanging from the Cordillera Sarmiento to the sea.
- After that, we will visit the Alsina Glacier, where we will make a disembarkation in exploration boats and will closely appreciate the glacier and the surrounding mountains.
- Back in the Skorpios III, we will sail by the Montañas Fjord towards the Bernal Glacier, where we will land to make a hike.
- The route will take us to a small native forest, and frontal and lateral moraines until we get to the front of the glacier, where even it will be possible to touch some ice.
- We will go back to the ship that will be making a water replenishment manouver from a cascade.
- We will continue by the Montañas Fjord and we will see the Herman and Zamudio glaciers.
- The route will take us to the Angostura White that we will traverse in exploration boats, passing by islands and rocky places, in which will be possible to appreciate the flora and fauna of the area.
- Back in the ship, we will prepare ourselves for the farewell party at 9:00 pm that includes a dinner with the Captain and dance, while we navigate by the Almirante Montt Gulf.
Day 4:
- We will arrive to Puerto Natales between 2:00 and 7:00 am, according to the wind conditions.
- The disembark will be from 8:00 to 9:30 am, and we will finish the service.
*NOTE: The program and schedules may change depending on weather conditios or force majeure. Also, disembarkations and duration of the activities will depend on the captain’s authorization, who will evaluate the safety and ice conditions of each place.
