Itinerary

Start: Day 1 at 6:00 am, at your accommodation in Puerto Natales.

End: Day 4 at 3:00 pm, at your accommodation in Puerto Natales.

Day 1: Departure from Puerto Natales – Base of Torres del Paine Trek (22 km walk, 8 to 9 hours).

We will pick you up at your accommodation to start a trip to the Torres del Paine National Park. You will arrive to the Welcome Center, where you will have to register so then you start walking up for 4 hours, going through the Ascencio Valley and the Wind Pass, until reaching one of the most known areas of the park: the Base of Torres del Paine Lookout Point. After visiting this attraction, you will return by the same track to the Welcome Center and then take the vehicle to go to the Pehoé Campsite, where you will be able to rest and enjoy dinner.

Day 2: Francés Lookout Point (22 km walk, 8 to 9 hours).

This second day you will get up early to have breakfast and then take your backpack with what you need for the day walking. You will go to the Pudeto area to take the catamaran to the Paine Grande area, from where you will start walking on the side of the Skotsberg and Nordenskjöld lakes, with views of the Cerro Paine Grande. You will pass by the Italiano Camp and, from there, you will go up for 1 and half hour by the valley of the Francés River until reaching the Francés Glacier Lookout Point. There, you will be able to rest and see the amazing views of the park. Then, you will start the return path to take the catamaran and then go back to the camp to rest.

Day 3: Grey Glacier Lookout Point Trek (22 km walk, 8 to 9hours).

Like the previous day, you will get up early to have breakfast in the camp’s dome and then take your backpack to go to Pudeto, where you will take the catamaran to cross the Pehoé Lake to the Paine Grande area. From that place you will start today’s walking, by the side of the Paine Massif through a valley. You will walk by the side of the Los Patos Lagoon and advance by the side of the Grey Lake. You will start seeing the glacier on the background. You will arrive to the Grey area, from where you will walk a little bit more to get to the main lookout point, where you will have an amazing panoramic view of the glacier’s wall, besides the surrounding landscape, and the smallest icebergs that reach the small bay. After a moment, you will start the way back to Paine Grande to take the catamaran and return to the Pehoé Camp.

Day 4: Entrances Trek (7.5 km walk, 3 hours).

You will start the day with breakfast, although a little later than the days before, because during this day you will use less time for the transport. You will start the Entrance trek from the one that is in the Sarmiento Lake. You will have views of the Torres del Paine Park and you will go deep into the Patagonian pampa, with the possibility to see guanacos and condors. You will see cave paintings and continue walking by the Blanquillos Lagoon. You will make a pause in the Azul Lagoon to have your box lunch, and then you will continue walking to the Amarga Lagoon entrance, where the vehicle will be waiting for you to return to Puerto Natales, where the activity ends.
