Conguillio National Park Trek

We will pick you up at your accommodation to start this 2-hour trip outside the city of Pucón. On the way, you will pass by Villarrica, Cunco, and Melipeuco, before passing by the entrance of the Conguillio National Park. Already inside the park, one of the first views you will have will be the Verde Lagoon, formed because of the eruptions of the Llaima Volcano. Then, you will continue to the Arcoiris Lagoon, formed partly by the Truful-Truful River. In this place, you also will find a submerged forest, which becomes a jewel inside the whole park.

Once inside the park’s forest, you will have the option of making a medium difficulty 12 km trek in 4 hours by the sendero Sierra Nevada, from where you will have panoramic views of the Conguillio Lake, and the Llaima Volcano surrounded by araucarias. Other option is a relaxed 3 km walk by the sendero de la Araucaria Madre of low difficulty that you can complete in around 2 hours. The meeting point after these activities will be the Conguillio Lake, from where you will start the return to Pucón, to end the activity.

*If you are staying in the Condominio Alta Vista, in the Variante Camino Internacional 459, the pickup will be at the beginning of the way up, because the road is too complicated for the vehicles.
