We will gather at our meeting point to leave Huaraz heading north, towards the Callejón de Huaylas. You can visit the city of Caraz, and then continue towards the front of Parón. Here the road will take you to Parón Lagoon, at 4200 m altitude, and the largest lagoon in the Cordillera Blanca. You can stop here to take photographs of the turquoise lagoon and the Pirámide Garcilaso mountain. Then you will walk through the ravine observing queñuales, a typical tree of the Andes Mountains, and the highest mountains of the Cordillera Blanca: Chacraraju, Artesonraju and Huandoy. You will continue the trekking for another 3 hours until you reach Laguna Artesoncocha, at 4300 m altitude, where you can take another break to eat and take photographs. Finally you will return to take the bus that will take you back to the city of Huaraz, ending the activity.
