We will gather at our meeting point to leave Huaraz heading south. You will pass through the towns of Recuay and Ticapampa on the way to Catac, where you can stop to drink mate de coca. Continuing with the tour you will reach the Gasified water of Pumapampa, a spring emanating from the depths whose main attraction is an opening of regular size which releases a large amount of carbonated water, at a height of approximately one meter. Then you will pass through Lake Pumapashimin, also known as the Spring of Seven Colors, where farmers believe rainbows are born. Along the way you will see the puyas raimondi, large Andean plants, as well as cave paintings that are 12,000 years old. Then, you will arrive at the base of the Nevado Pastoruri, after walking from 45 minutes to 1 hour, at 5100 m altitude. Here you will enjoy the view and you will be able to take beautiful photographs. On your way back you can stop in Catac for lunch. After a short break you will continue your return to the city of Huaraz.
