We will pick you up at your accommodation to leave El Calafate, taking the Ruta 40 near the Lake Argentino. With the El Chalten Full Day tour you will cross the Santa Cruz River and then you will arrive to the old La Leona Hotel, where you will make a stop. Then, you will go by the border of the Viedma Lake, whit the Andes as background. In addition, you will make a stop in the Viedma Glacier Lookout Point, from where you will the glacier with the same name, and the Fitz Roy and Torre mountains. After 3 hours, you will reach the mountain village El Chalten.
In the town, you will visit the Centro de Interpretación de Parques Nacionales and from that place you will walk with a guide to the Condors Lookout Point, an ascent of low difficulty of a little more than 1 hour to the lookout from where you can see the mountain range surrounding the Fitz Roy Mountain, with El Chalten in the lower part and the Rio de las Vueltas Valley in the background. After that, you will go to a restaurant to enjoy lunch, so then you start a trip to the northwest to go deep into the valley and make a short walk to the Salto del Chorrillo, small waterfall in the middle of the woods. Then, you will go back to El Calafate, where the activity ends.
