After taking a panoramic look at the surroundings and hearing from your guide, you will go to St. Mark’s Basilica, a church built in the Middle Ages and modified several times in subsequent years. There you can observe countless works of fine art, as well as admire its Gothic architecture. Afterwards, you will move on to the Doge’s Palace, which was the seat of government of the Republic of Venice during the 9th to the 18th centuries. There, you will be able to see works of arts from across many eras and also see the apartments where the Venetian Doge lived and worked.
