We will gather at the meeting point to explore the islands beyond Venice with this Murano & Burano Day Trip, two islands in the Venetian Lagoon in the Veneto region. First, you will take a boat to the island of Murano, where you can take a close look at what the island is famous for: the art of glass making. You will visit a furnace where artisans craft their products, which you can later buy as a souvenir if desired. Afterwards, you will get on the boat again and head to Burano, which is characterized by the bright and vivid colors of fishermen's houses. The island is also known for producing lace of many different designs and sizes. After having lunch on the island and wandering around its hidden nooks and crannies, you will return to Venice to conclude the excursion.
