We will gather at the meeting point to walk to our Gondola Ride through the Venice Canals. As we walk for 20 minutes to the starting point, the guide will tell you about the history of the gondolas and the gondoliers. Once on board, you will be able to enjoy breathtaking views of the building along the Grand Canal for 30 minutes. Afterwards, we will row on to the lesser known canals, the best place for truly magical views of Venice’s enchanting atmosphere. Some of the historic buildings you will see include the Venetian home of the composer Mozart, La Fenice opera house, and the Punta della Dognana. You can also spot the Doge's Palace and St. Mark's Basilica from the canal, from an impressive change of perspective.
*The tour does not operate in case of exceptional high tide. In this case it can be postponed to the day after, otherwise it will be refunded.
