We will meet at the designated point to begin this Valdivia & Niebla City Tour, an experience that blends history, nature, and cultural heritage.
You will start with a walk through the historic center of Valdivia, where you will admire its architecture, which preserves the original design prior to the 1960 earthquake. Then you will cross to Isla Teja to explore the Botanical Garden of the Austral University of Chile, a 10-hectare space home to over 950 plant species.
After that, you will continue to Niebla, where you will visit the imposing Niebla Fortress, declared a National Historic Monument in 1950. Built in 1645, it was part of a defensive system against colonial invasions and today stands as a living testament to southern Chile’s history.
Finally, we will return to the starting point, closing a tour that combines architecture, landscapes, and cultural heritage in Valdivia and Niebla.
*On Sundays and Mondays, the visit to Niebla Castle (since it is closed to the public on those days) is replaced by a visit to the Kunstmann Brewery and more time in Niebla.
