We will spend our first night here in hammocks or beds with mosquito nets.

Day 2: Adán cabins – Mutanzi – Paraíso Cabins (15.7 km-hike, 6 hours).

We will get up early to eat breakfast and then begin a trek to the indigenous village of Mutanzi. From here, we will hike for 40 more minutes to reach the place where we will have lunch. After resting up a bit to restore our energy, we will continue until reaching the Paraíso cabins, where we will spend our second night in hammocks or beds.

Day 3: Paraíso cabins – Lost City – Mumake cabins (7.6 km-hike, 5 hours).

Today, just like the previous day, we will wake up very early for breakfast and to start the 1-hour hike to the Lost City. We will spend 3 hours there at the archaeological site, where our guide will give us some information about the place’s history, how it was discovered, and its importance in the lives of the people who lived in the Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta in the past. After enjoying the place and taking pictures, we will return to the campsite to have lunch. Then, we will hike for 4 more hours to reach our next resting site, where we will spend our last night camping.

Day 4: Mumake cabins – Mamey – Santa Marta (15 km-hike, 6 hours).

After breakfast, we will leave the campsite to hike for 7 hours to the town of Mamey that we already visited on the first day of the excursion. We will have lunch here and rest a bit before taking our 4x4 vehicle to start the 3-hour trip to Santa Marta to end the activity.
