You can also visit the exterior of the Maracanã Stadium, the largest football stadium in Brazil; the Sambódromo da Marquês de Sapucaí, one of the largest spaces for large outdoor events in the city and used mainly in carnival parades; the Metropolitan Cathedral of Rio de Janeiro, officially named the Cathedral of San Sebastian, and the Selarón escadaria, a large mosaic made with tiles brought from all over the world.
