We will pick you up at your accommodations to start this trip through the route that will take you 43.5 miles (70 km) to the south of Punta Arenas. You will begin the Monte Tarn Trek with the guide’s instructions and the walking plan. After preparing the equipment, you will make a 3 and a half hour hike by an increasing track to reach the summit of the mount. In this place, you will stay for 45 minutes to admire the views of the Strait of Magellan from the Brunswick Peninsula. After that, you will start the descent seeing the islands, and flora and fauna of the place, besides experiencing the weather conditions that make important part of the landscape. After 12 km walking in around 7 hours, you will arrive to the beach where you will have a snack, so then you return to Punta Arenas and end the activity.
*Not always we can reach the top of the hill due to weather conditions. If this is the case, we will wait a weather improvement or it will be replaced by an alternative hike.
