We will pick you up at your accommodation to begin this trip outside Puerto Varas, taking the route around the Llanquihue Lake to Ensenada, place where the operations base of the Petrohue River Whitewater Rafting is located. In the base, you will receive instruction and a safety talk, while you try on the equipment. Once you are already with the equipment, you will take the transport for 10 more minutes until reaching the place where the rafting starts to practice the different rowing techniques before going for the water. You will pass through the first rapid, after what 11 km more will be waiting for you, passing through III and IV class rapids. In addition, you will have the chance of making stops in some places to have views of the surrounding volcanoes and also climb some walls and jump to the river.
Once in the disembarkation point, you can change your clothes in the dressing-rooms so then you come back to the base and, from there, begin the return to Puerto Varas, where the activity ends.
*The end time of phis activity might be modified because of the number of passengers during January and February, which is bigger than the rest of the year. Because of that, our recommendation is not to buy tickets to leave Puerto Varas until 5 hours after the end of the tour or leave your trip for the day after.
