We will pick you up to start this Pompeii & Vesuvius Day Trip. You will travel to Pompeii, the ancient Roman city located in Campania, on the shores of the Gulf of Naples. This city is mainly known for being destroyed during the eruption of the Vesuvius volcano in 79 AD. Here the tour guide will show you the most fascinating places such as the Forum, the thermal baths, Lupanare, the Greek theater and the casts of the bodies of the people of Pompeii buried by the ashes during the eruption. Then you will have a lunch break with pizza margherita and a soft drink. After lunch you will travel to Torre del Greco. Here you can access the Vesuvius National Park where you can walk to the top of the only active volcano in continental Europe, famous for its eruption in 79 AD. From the top of its 1,200 meters of altitude you will be able to admire the beautiful views of the entire Bay of Naples, from Capo Miseno to Punta Campanella. Finally you will return to Naples, ending the trip.

Very flexible booking as I accidently chose the morning tour when I wanted the afternoon. They accommodated me without any issues. I was also the only one on the tour, so it's nice to see that they will still take a single person out, when many agencies won't do that.
