In the middle of the Coahuila desert we can find San Joaquín Hot Springs, a complex featuring hot spring pools whose mineral properties, such as calcium, iron, and phosphorus, have been a source of health for thousands of years around the world. These sulfurous waters maintain a temperature between 30 and 40 degrees Celsius.
During your visit, you can enjoy the underground hot spring pools, designed in vaults resembling Roman-style baths, making them ideal for aromatherapy generated by the vapors from the hot springs themselves.
After your visit to the hot springs, you will visit the Paredón Coahuila, where two of northern Mexico's main railroads intersect, and a historic town called Icamole, a small community that was the site of a famous battle led by Porfirio Díaz.
Finally, you will explore the historic center of the municipality of García, whose architecture features colorful and elegant mansions from the beginning of the last century. You will also visit a traditional bakery where bread is still baked in the traditional way.
