Day 1: Manaus - Cacau Pirera - Paricatuba - Lodge.

We will depart early from Manaus by speedboat, crossing the Rio Negro to the village of Cacau Pirêra. From there, you will board a vehicle to continue overland for about 50 minutes to Paricatuba. Here, you will board a motorized canoe to reach the lodge just in time for lunch.

After lunch, you will have a moment to rest before canoeing through the streams and trying fishing for piranhas. Later, you will embark on a night expedition that will allow you to spot caimans and other nocturnal species, as well as listen to the sounds of the jungle. Finally, you will return to the lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 2: Jungle Hike - Canoeing.

This day will begin with breakfast and then you will set off on a hike for approximately two and a half hours. During the walk with your guide, you will be able to identify different medicinal plants and trees, and listen to the sounds of the jungle. You will return to the lodge for lunch and a rest before setting out on a paddle-canoe excursion through the igarapés, small canals, or the igapós, flooded lands. The location of the activity will depend on the season. At the end of the day, you will return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 3: Indigenous Village - Manaus.

You will wake up at dawn for breakfast and then visit a nearby indigenous village. Here, the locals will welcome you into their homes, and you will learn about their culture and customs. There will also be time for your guide to teach you about local farming techniques. You will then return to the lodge for lunch and then you will have free time to swim in the Rio Negro, before preparing everything for the return trip to Manaus, where the activity concludes.
