With the Alcazaba and Roman Theater Tour you will learn about the history of the Roman Theater and its almost 2000 years of antiquity. You will be able to visit the archaeological remains of the theater in the province of ancient Malacca and the main preserved vestige of the Roman presence in Malaga. This theater is located in the historic city center, at the foot of the Alcazaba hill and still preserves a large part of the seating, the orchestra decorated with large marble slabs, and the scaena, which today has a wooden floor like the one it was originally used. You will also visit the Alcazaba of Malaga, a fortified palace that since the 11th century served as a military barracks and home of the Malaga royalty. Here you can see its beautiful gardens and perfectly restored fountains, as well as the palace area of the Cuartos de Granada, with elements that will transport you back to the Caliphate and Nasrid periods of Al-Andalus.
