We will meet in the meeting point to start this Madrid Bike Tour. The first point you will visit will be the Parque del Retiro, place in which you will be able to ride and see the places of this wonderful public park. Then, you will pass by the Ayuntamiento, located in the Palacio de Sibeles, and by the Prado Museum, one of the best known in the world. After that, you will tour the Barrio de las Letras (Literary Quarter), known with that name because there lived great writers during the 17th century, like Lope de Vega. In addition, you will be able to visit the Puerta del Sol, square where from 1950 on is located the kilometer zero of all the roads in Spain. See also the Estatua del Oso (Bear Statue) and the Modroño, true symbols of the city. Have access too, to the Royal Palace and the Catedral de la Almudena, virgin patron saint of Madrid. The cathedral is near the old church of Santa María de la Almudena, built over an old mosque. Then, you will go back to the starting point to give back the bicycle and end the tour.
