With this tour, we will move away from the urban concentration of Lima and travel to Pachacamac, an archaeological site that preserves incredible ruins built by the Ichma people around 1100 AD. You will see the Acllahuasi temple, the Temple of the Sun, and other attractions, as well as the site museum. Afterwards, you will visit a hacienda in the Lurín Valley to witness the spectacular Peruvian Paso Horse Show. First, you will visit the stables, where you will receive information about these animals. Then, you will enjoy the show led by the chalanes or horse riders who guide the horses to the rhythm of the music. At the end, you will have the option to ride one of these horses before lunch, if you wish.
The pickup is at hotels located within the urban area of the San Isidro, Miraflores, and Barranco districts. If your accommodation is outside these areas, a nearby meeting point will be arranged.
Pachacamac is approximately 45 kilometers from Lima, which is about a 1-hour drive, depending on traffic.
Yes, at the end of the show, participants have the option to ride a Peruvian Paso horse if they wish, for a more direct experience with these unique animals.
