Let's exercise our legs while enjoying the landscape with this Death Road biking tour, which will allow us to traverse part of Los Yungas Road, once considered the most dangerous in the world because its hazardous path.
Itinerary:
- Our tour begins in our meeting point.
- We will go to the Cordillera Real summit, from where we will have amazing views of the landscape formed by surrounding mountains, like the Huayna Potosí.
- From the top, we will begin biking by a paved road, appreciating the subtropical landscape.
- We will make a brief pause for a snack, so then we can take the upwards route with a support vehicle.
- Then, we will start the next stage with a descent by the old gravel road, through the most tropical area, where the green colors of the jungle show up.
- The road goes down more than 2,000 m, between cliffs and waterfalls from the mountain.
- Our destination will be the Yolosa village, to then continue towards the place where we will enjoy a buffet lunch and a bath in the place's swimming pool.
- Then, we will return to La Paz.
