Day 1: Iquitos – Muyuna Lodge – Sapote Lagoon.
We will pick you up at your accommodation or the airport if you arrive at the start time of the tour. From there, you will go to the point in which you have to take the boat to the Muyuna Lodge, where you will stay for the next 3 nights. After leaving your things in the room, you will enjoy the lunch of the day. Then, you will have some time to rest, before walking by the surroundings of the lodge to identify the diverse flora of the place. Subsequently, you will see the pygmy marmoset, the smallest monkey in the world. After that, you will visit the Sapote Lagoon, place where you will see the sunset. At the end of the day, you will have dinner, after what you will make a nighttime excursion by boat to identify alligators and other animals.
Day 2: Amazon River – San Juan de Yanayacu.
You will get up early for breakfast and start the day with a navigation by the Amazon River. You will go to a special place in which you will see grey and pink dolphins, and even swim with them. After that, you will visit a place where you can find the Victoria Regia, the largest aquatic plant in the world. In addition, you will have time to see iguanas. Then, you will have lunch and some time to rest, before going fishing piranhas in the traditional way. You will visit San Juan de Yanayacu Town as well, before going back to the lodge for dinner and rest. Also, you will have time for a nighttime walk in which you will see tarantulas and giant frogs.
Day 3: Juanachi or Moena Lagoon.
After breakfast, you will take the boat to navigate to the Juanachi or Moena lagoon, depending on your election. In either of the two you will be able to see different types of birds and monkeys. You will return to the lodge for lunch, after what a tour is scheduled about medicinal plants. You will have access to information about this kind of plants that you can find in the area. You will return to the lodge for dinner and then there is a nighttime navigation so you can hear the night jungle.
Day 4: Casha Lagoon – Iquitos.
You will have breakfast early in the morning so then you make an excursion by boat to the hard-to-reach Casha Lagoon. There you will be able to identify different animals with the guide's help. You will return to the lodge for lunch, and after you will take your things to start the return journey to Iquitos, where the activity ends.
