We will depart from Iquique towards the highlands, where you will see the desert landscape transform into mountains and valleys as we head to Mamiña.
You will walk through this picturesque village built in liparita stone, visit its main square and the historic church from 1632. You will also meet its Aymara people, learning about their ancestral traditions and handicrafts. Later, you will relax in the Ipla Hot Springs, famous for their therapeutic waters.
After lunch, you will explore the surroundings of the village, known for their pink stone constructions, a unique hallmark of the area.
Finally, we will return to Iquique, closing a tour that combines relaxation, culture, and Andean traditions.
*The service includes a Spanish-speaking guide only. If you need an English-speaking guide or a guide who speaks another language, write us at reserva@denomades.com with your request.
*Mud baths are run by a local Ayamara community and are extra services paid directly in the hot springs, price subject to change without notice. Currently the mud baths are available from Tuesday to Sunday.
