We will start the tour from Iquique to the north, to make a stop in the town of Huara to have breakfast. Then, we will reach first the majestic Cerro Unita, to observe the geoglyph Gigante de Atacama, an interesting remnant of the ancient inhabitants of the north.
After lunch in the Andean town of Cariquima, we will arrive to the Isluga National Park, where you will have the possibility to see the flora and fauna of the area along the Isluga River. On the way, you will also visit the Aravilla Lagoons, and the towns of Mauque and Enquelga, where you will have access to more information about the Aymara Culture and the hot springs for a period between 30 an 45 minutes. Then, you will begin the return to Iquique to end the activity.
*Part of this tour is made above 3,000 m or 9,842.5 ft. of altitude, so we recommend not having breakfast at your accommodations before the beginning of the activity, and read this article to avoid the symptoms of the altitude sickness.
