To begin this activity, we will travel from the city to a red rock canyon in the Guanacaste Mountains. There, deep in the canyon, you will start this Tenorio River Whitewater Rafting activity, which winds through the mountains amidst incredible scenery.
After rowing instruction and safety instructions, you will set off on the river to explore 22 rapids over a 12-km course. In addition to the adrenaline rush of rafting, you will have the chance to see the wildlife that lives near the river and take home the best memories of Costa Rican nature.
The last stop of this tour will be at Cascabel Waterfall, a 3-meter (12-foot) waterfall. Afterward, you will return to the starting point to end the activity.
