We will pick you up at your lodging early in the morning to depart from El Calafate towards Puerto Punta Bandera. This All Glaciers: Upsala & Spegazzini tour starts with a boat trip on the northern section of Lake Argentino. We will cross the Boca de Diablo (Devil's Mouth) and reach the Upsala Channel, where we will sail among the ice floes here. After this, we will enter the Spegazzini Channel, where we will catch our first glimpse of the Seco Glacier. As we continue on the boat tour, we will see the Heim Sur and Peineta Glaciers, and we will then arrive at the Spegazzini Base. We will disembark here and take a short, 300-meter hike to the Spegazzini refuge, with different lookout points of Glacier Bay. We can rest and eat lunch at the refuge, or we can continue hiking along the mountain trail on a trek of medium intensity through a forest with natural lookout points. After this experience, we will start the return trip back to the city of El Calafate to end our activity.
Both navigations visit the same glaciers: Upsala, Spegazzini and Seco, among others that you can see from the vessel, but All Glaciers include a disembarkation in the Spegazzini refuge, from where you can make a short hike to a lookout point to have a panoramic view of the Glacier Bay. Because of that, this tour lasts 2 more hours compared to the Ice Rivers Express. Besides, All Glaciers has daily departures confirmed, while the Ice Rivers has departures only in interspersed days.
