The Jesuit Estancias are a set of six farms built between 1616 and 1725 by the Jesuits. Five of them, along with the Jesuit Block, were declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000.
We will depart from Cordoba to Colonia Caroya, city of descendants of Italian immigrants, and famously known for its artisanal salami. We will visit the Jesuit Estancia Casa de Caroya. Then we will visit the city of Jesus Maria and her Jesuit Estancia San Isidro Labrador, known for winemaking. Finally, we will visit Estancia Santa Catalina and its imposing church, before returning to Cordoba through Sierras Chicas and the towns of Ascochinga, Agua de Oro, Rio Ceballos.
