We will gather at our meeting point to start this Volcanoes of Mexico Trek. The bus will take you to “La Joya”, at the famous Paso de Cortés. This place bears that name because the Spanish conquistador Hernán Cortés crossed it on his way to Mexico-Tenochtitlán in 1519. Here you will have the opportunity to contemplate the impressive landscapes of nature and see how they change as you walk along the mountain trails. You will be able to admire the diversity of flora and fauna of the place and take panoramic photos of the incredible view. You will walk along the mountain trails, climbing up to 4,300 meters above sea level.
