We will pick you up to start this Old & Modern City Tour by Mexico City. You will pass by the first park of the city, built in the 16th Century: The Alameda Park. In addition, you will go to the Palacio de Bellas Artes (Palace of Fine Arts) so then you head to the Historical Downtown, specifically to the place where Hernan Cortes and Moctezuma met for the first time in 1519, which meant the beginning of the Spanish Conquest and the end of the Azteca Empire. In this place today is the Iglesia de Jesús Nazareno, place where lie the mortal remains of the conqueror, on the side of the Hospital de Jesús, dating from 1524. Besides, you will visit the Government Palace and the National Palace where is the Epopeya del pueblo mexicano mural, of Diego Rivera. The same way, you will pass by the Templo Mayor and the Metropolitan Cathedral. After that, you will go through the Paseo de la Reforma, the main avenue of the city, to reach the Chapultepec Park and the residential area of Lomas de Chapultepec, so then you continue to the west of the city, to Santa Fe, the commercial district developed from the 80’s on.
