We will gather at our meeting point to begin this tour around the streets that inspired the Colombian writer and journalist Gabriel García Márquez to write one of his famous novels. Gabriel García Márquez, one of the main exponents of the so-called Latin American boom, received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1982 and is also considered one of the main authors of magical realism. His best-known work, the novel One Hundred Years of Solitude, is considered one of the most representative novels of the magical realism literary movement. You will go from the Plaza de Santo Domingo to the writer's house in San Diego Cartagena, and you will experience the art, music and literature of the bohemian neighborhood in which “Gabo” lived magical, absurd and imaginary realities that influenced his life and the lives of his characters.
