We will meet at the same place where we will have this true culinary experience and learn about the chocolate-making process. This chocolate-making class begins with the history of cacao, a history that dates back at least three millennia, since when it is known to have been grown by the peoples of Central America. While we listen to this history, we will start to prepare the authentic xocolatl, a drink that used to be consumed by the Aztec rulers. As the process is being explained to us, we will also make our own chocolate bar with Peruvian products. Further into the class, we will have a chocolate tasting, where we will be taught how to differentiate between gourmet and store-bought chocolate. After the experience that lasts for 2 hours and 15 minutes, the class will end and we will be able to take the chocolate bars we made with us to enjoy at home or with friends.
