We will pick you up to begin the way to the starting point of the navigation across the Magellan Strait, so you can reach Tierra del Fuego island. In that place, you will go to the King Penguin Natural Reserve, in Bahía Inútil. There, you will be received by a local guide, who will give instructions for the visit, as well as important information about this penguin species, the second largest in the world. The observation is made from specific points, from a 50-meter (164 feet) distance and in total silence, so you don’t disturb these animals. After about 1 hour of observation and tour by the marked track, you will go back to the vehicle to continue the trip by Tierra del Fuego.

Depending on how the day’s itinerary is organized, you will have the possibility of visiting the city of Porvenir, make a small tour and have lunch. The same way, you will stop in Estancia San Gregorio (wether it be on the trip going to Tierra del Fuego or on the way back), built since 1878 and that still have some facilities standing, although abandoned.
